Pint of Science Festival in Cologne

20. - 22. May 2019

Head down to your local pub and let our scientists give you an insight into their research over a beer in a cozy atmosphere.

Researchers from the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing, Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research, Max Planck Institute for Plant breeding and Cluster of Excellence for AgingResearch (CECAD) can be caught speaking at various pubs across the city. Tickets are available from the Pint of Science website, with each evening costing only 2,50 €.

The international, three-day Pint of Science festival will see thousands of scientists simultaneously standing up and telling the public about their research in over 320 cities across 24 countries across all continents. Founded seven years ago by two UK researchers, the festival brings a unique line up of talks, demonstrations and live experiments to the nation’s favourite locals.

All Events start at 7 pm.
