EIC pathfinder challenge in Biotechnology for Healthy Aging

This event will present an EIC Pathfinder “Biotechnology for Healthy Aging” funding call with a deadline 28th Oct 2026. This call will select a group of projects developing innovative technology solutions for healthy ageing, focusing on the areas of interventions, biomarkers and new approach methodologies. The selected projects will also work together to tackle shared challenges and opportunities in the field, such as addressing regulatory pathways, or raising public awareness about healthy longevity. Projects shall achieve the proof of principle and validate the scientific basis of breakthrough technologies (starting from early TRLs aiming at achieving TRL3 or 4).

A presentation is followed by a Q&A session.

The speaker is Mrs Orsolya Symmons, PhD who is the responsible Programme Manager for this call and who will provide valuable insights about the EIC programme and the call to the research community.

This event is hosted by the European Federation for Aging Research - EFAR.
