Internships

Are you interested in doing an internship or a lab rotation in one of our groups? We are always looking for excellent junior and senior scientists motivated in joining our international research community!

Students

To do an internship with us, you must be over 18 years old, participate in an educational programme and stay for at least 2 months.

Please submit your application directly to a preferred research lab by email. Remember that all correspondence should be in English, as this is the working language at our institute.

Please refrain from internship requests send to a general email address as this will not be automatically forwarded.

For internships within the Undergraduate Program: Please submit your internship request directly to Helen Antebi.

Pupils

We are very pleased when an internship request shows the scientific interest and commitment of pupils. Pupils who would like to "get a taste" of our laboratory operations must, however, be supervised in a very elaborate manner for safety-related reasons. This is usually not possible with the existing staff. For these reasons, we are unable to offer internships in the departments and groups to pupils.

However, it is important to us to encourage young people's interest in science. Therefore, we often offer a special programme for children and young people at public events. Please feel free to inform yourself about our events and we look forward to welcoming you.
