Established in 2008 the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing is growing fast. Together with our partner organizations in the Cologne/Bonn area we pursue our research at the forefront of basic biomedical science and are about to become one of the world’s leading ageing research hubs.

Are you an undergraduate student? Become part of our unique undergraduate internship program! Thinking about pursuing your Master studies in Cologne? Apply to our Master Fellowship program and be mentored by a PI of our ageing research community. Are you interested in doing a PhD in one of our groups? Then check out the structured doctoral training of the Cologne Graduate School of Ageing Research! Postdoc and group leader positions are advertised on a regular basis. Our postdocs and group leaders are supported by representation committees and an interdisciplinary mentoring network.

We are always looking for excellent junior and senior scientists motivated in joining our international research community!
